Yoga
Yoga is the practice of connection. Rooted in the ancient Vedic culture of India, thousands of years and iterations old, the yoga practices are ultimately bridging the interior to the exterior.
Kate’s understanding and interpretation of yoga comes from a practice of 17 years and counting. She stumbled into a yoga class by accident as a 16 year old girl at her local YMCA. Feeling a deep sense of presence from that very first class, Kate continued her self-study, practicing every methodology from Bikram to Yin to Ashtanga. She received her first 300 hour certification in Jivamukti Yoga (an energetic and uplifting Hatha practice) in 2016, and completed her 800+ hour certification in 2018.
Kate has taught at a variety of yoga schools, including the legendary Jivamukti Yoga NYC, Powerflow Hoboken, Surya Yoga, and is a Master Teacher at Urban Sadhu Yoga Jersey City. Additionally, she has taught private group and individual classes, including to the NYU Athletics Department, Salons for Life, and the Florida State Thespian Festival.
